Reading, England June, 2008MEI, a leading supplier of note acceptors used in the worldwide casino gaming industry, is pleased to announce their Partnership Program with Tsogo Sun. The Partnership Program was agreed upon after Montecasino, Tsogo Sun’s flagship property, approved a Value Added Trial (VAT) to improve their acceptance rates.
With the recent change to ticket in ticket out (TITO) in South Africa, Montecasino recognized that now, more then ever, they needed better acceptance rates. Annemie Turk, Slots Manager at Montecasino, shares her experience with MEI’s VAT, “Before we switched to TITO we requested an alternative bill validator from our OEM to increase our acceptance rates. The OEM recommended MEI Cashflow, and it out performed the other bill validators on our floor.”
Mark Greenawalt, Director of Europe and Africa Gaming at MEI, comments on this successful VAT, “Cashflow SC is a great product. The reason we believe our VATs to be so successful is because we are willing to go head-to-head with any other bill validator company. Our customers choose MEI because of acceptance, security, or customer service. But, at the end of the day, our customers are most impressed with the fact that there is more money in the cashbox.”
According to Chris Baragwanath, Gaming Operations Manager for Tsogo Sun Casinos, there are several reasons that Tsogo Sun signed the Partnership Program with MEI, “Our decision was threefold: Cashflow has exceptional acceptance, very nice speed and considerably low maintenance. Players only know when there is a problem. And there are hardly any problems in the slots with Cashflow. This helps us to increase playing time and improve player satisfaction.”
